Green River Overlook from Island in the Sky. This must be one of the largest and most impressive views on planet Earth. The Green River slides away to meet the Colorado river as the view of mesa's goes on, and on, and on... in the setting sun. Only 12 steps forward is a thousand foot drop.

The San Juan Goosenecks from Muley Point. The winter storm is passing from Northern Arizona into New Mexico and Colorado as viewed from this high vantage point in Utah. Monument Valley is on the horizon to the right side. Twenty feet forward and 1000 feet down. The San Juan River is another 1200 feet below the bottom of this viewpoint.
